Rhonda Spangler, BASW
Aging Life Care Manager
Rhonda earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Social Work from the University of Washington. She spent many years working in a hospital setting, providing clinical intake and case management services at an adolescent psychiatric facility in Montana. Relocation to Spokane allowed Rhonda the opportunity to refocus her enthusiasm for another generation in need of advocacy and services through her work at DSHS/ALTCEW. Rhonda's passion for geriatric care management grew out of assisting aging relatives experiencing personal health challenges. She saw firsthand the stress and uncertainty her loved ones faced while interacting with the health care systems. It was then that she became personally invested in assisting our senior population access the necessary resources in order to live out the rest of their lives safely and with dignity.
Suella Koontz, MSW
Aging Life Care Manager
Suella worked as a Supervisor for Providence Health and Services for many years, learning that she loved being able to help people of all ages and backgrounds succeed in achieving their goals. She watched the example her parents set as they took care of their own aging parents and developed a strong belief in the importance of honoring and giving back to our family and elders. She then went back to school, earning her Master of Social Work degree from EWU, and ultimately working for Frontier Behavior Health/Elder Services where she learned firsthand about the issues and challenges involved in aging, as well as resources to help people age safely in their own homes. Suella wants to continue to help seniors be able to live meaningful lives in their own homes as they age.

Jenn has worked in healthcare for over 5 years, starting her career working in Physical Therapy. She enjoyed helping the senior population so much that she wanted to change career paths to do more for them. Her family had been effected by Alzheimer's and her heart was telling her that she needed to help those effected by the disease. This prompted Jenn to join the FFSC team and began working with seniors to ensure they are getting the best care possible in the comfort of their own homes. When she is not working, Jenn volunteers with Donate Life Northwest, where she is helping raise awareness for organ donation.
Sue is responsible for managing our caregivers while they work in our seniors’ homes and meet their needs. She finds assisting seniors and helping them achieve independence rewarding.
